In the early ‘80s, our esteemed owner had a chance encounter with an old but legendary explorer, Tenzing Norgay, one of the two men to first ascend the summit of Mt. Everest. Norgay helped carry Sir Edmund Hillary to the top, and our owner wanted to know how he powered his way to the summit. The aging Tenzing leaned in with a smile and said, “The secret to my success was perseverance, teamwork, and white chocolate.” Not fully understanding the meaning of these words, it wasn’t until 25 years later that the sage advice inspired our very own team to come up with the High Peaks Mix, a warm blend of dry-roasted almonds, lightly salted cashew pieces, juicy raisins, and fruit-juice infused cranberries balanced out majestically with certified-organic white chocolate.
