Valatie, NY – Tierra Farm, a certified organic manufacturer and distributor of nuts, dried fruits, coffee and chocolate products in upstate New York, has relocated their corporate offices, expanding to Main Street Valatie.

Tierra Farm distributes to more than 1,100 stores and sells over 210 products to co-ops and independent grocery stores around the country. They had a record setting first half of the year and are on pace for $28.5 million in sales for 2018. Growing at an impressive rate of 18.3% they continue to build a team to support their success, which has pushed them to expand their corporate offices.

“Over the past eighteen months our growth has outpaced our infrastructure, forcing us to separate our production and administrative spaces. This expansion ensures that all employees will have ample workspace while allowing for future growth,” said Todd Kletter, CEO of Tierra Farm. The farm on Route 203 in Valatie – 20 miles from Albany – is still the main location for many Tierra Farm employees, including over twenty-five production and operations personnel, retail store associates and farm laborers. The new corporate offices, located at the former clothing retail store, The Lodge, will now be the headquarters for twelve administrative employees, including sales, customer service, human resources, accounting, and marketing.

The Adirondack-style building was purchased by Tierra Farm back in 2005 to help give Main Street Valatie a facelift. Its contemporary rustic facade is also represented internally with natural wooden walls, floors and doors, including a working fireplace, neutral colored walls and recessed lighting. The new location also accommodates the organic employee lunch program benefit.

On the heels of office expansion is the widely anticipated Madison Ave Store reopening in Albany. For the past few months the store has been undergoing internal renovations, including a completely new layout. There will be a small seating area in the new space for people waiting, and in addition to coffee, customers will be able to buy pastries and similar items. Tierra will also sell some of its products in the retail section of the store. The official grand opening will be in October.

Tierra Farm will also be hosting their first annual Fall Festival. This community appreciation event is free and open to the public, offering food, drinks, music and games. The festival will be held on Saturday, October 13th from 12pm – 3pm at the farm in Valatie. There is also a rain date of Sunday, October 14th.
